Individual Values, Effort Values, and Natures for Iron Valiant Held Item, Tera Types, and Moves on Iron Valiant
Iron Valiant in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has become one of the best Pokémon for Ranked Matches. It is versatile and has very high Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats. Consider using Iron Valiant when a trainer is looking to even out their team with both types of offensive moves. Iron Valiant also does well in both double and single battles formats, however, different sets apply.
Iron Valiant is a Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Violet. To find an Iron Valiant in Pokémon Violet, trainers need to head to Area Zero and go to Research Station No.3. Head left from the obvious cave in front of the trainer and go past a stone archway. Continue forwards, and once the trainer finds large boulders to their left, jump over them to find a cave. Go inside the cave, and trainers will find them in a clearing. Use a Fairy- or Fighting-type Sandwich for increased chances of finding them. For trainers playing Pokémon Scarlet, consider using the Union Circle feature to catch one with an Owner Trainer title or receive it from a trade.
Individual Values, Effort Values, and Natures for Iron Valiant
Iron Valiant for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Ranked Matches have many sets for trainers to choose from. Like Pokémon Scarlet & Violet‘s Roaring Moon, Iron Valiant is very offensively strong and should be given a basic base stat spread. For Individual Values across the board, consider maxing out Iron Valiant while Hyper Training. However, for a Mixed Attacker spread, an emphasis on Iron Valiant’s Effort Values in Special Attack is needed to even out its offensive stats. Finally, all Natures on Iron Valiant must be +Speed with additional 252 Effort Values in Speed to outrun dangerous Pokémon that can beat it in one shot.

Held Item, Tera Types, and Moves on Iron Valiant
Iron Valiant for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Ranked Matches will need to be fast enough to survive 1 or 2 turns regardless of the set. Additionally, changing its Tera Type to Fairy, Fighting, or Psychic is recommended, as it’s more of an offensive play that boosts the power of its moves. Alternatively, according to YouTuber MattOshea, Steel- Tera Type is also useful, giving Iron Valiant immunity to Poison-type and resistance to Psychic-type.
If using a Mixed Attacking set, start by using Swords Dance, Icy Wind, or Close Combat, which all affect stats on either side. On the next turn, the player can get another big hit off an opponent or Destiny Bond so that the opponent faints with it. When using a Choice Scarf build, make sure to send it out as a “revenge killer,” swiftly taking down an opponent that hurt the trainer on the previous turn. Finally, if the Pokémon is up against a bulky wall, using the Trick move in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will stop them from recovering HP or stalling.
