Y2K Inspired Street Styles in Harajuku Japan, Summer 2022

On a recent Sunday in Harajuku, twelve Japanese & Korean friends held a “Y2K Code” day. “Code” is short for “Dress Code” in Japanese, meaning they all dressed up in Y2K inspired (FRUiTS Magazine era) styles and met up in Harajuku for fun, food, purikura, and shopping. Here are 12 of their looks. Everyone in the video is tagged on Instagram.
