How To Make Sunny Veggie Porridge Where To Find Sundelion, Hylian Rice, and Fresh Milk

In Kakariko Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link will come across the Enchanted Armor Shop with absurdly high prices. After speaking to the shop owner, he will learn she has marked up her inventory due to a situation at home, her sick Nanna, who has come down with a Gloom-related disease.

Head back to the shopkeeper’s home, behind the shop on a slight incline above the village, to find her Nanna lying in a bed. Outside the house will be the shopkeeper’s sister, Lasli, who has been caring for the grandmother. She will inform Link that her Nanna became ill after interacting with one of The Depths Chasms covered with Gloom in Zelda: TOTK.

How To Make Sunny Veggie Porridge

When speaking to Lasli, she will inform Link that she has tried different Porridges to make her grandmother better, but nothing has worked. She will give a recipe for a Porridge made up of Hylian Rice, Fresh Milk, and Fried Greens, but this is not the recipe Link needs to follow; it is just a guide of sorts to the core ingredients of Porridge. Since there are no Fried Wild Greens for Link to find in Zelda: TOTK, that is the ingredient that needs to be supplemented. After speaking with some of the villages, Link will have learned that a plant, Sundelion, has healing properties specific to Gloom, which is the missing ingredient.

Where To Find Sundelion, Hylian Rice, and Fresh Milk

Now that Link knows the three ingredients he needs to make Sunny Veggie Porridge; he needs to go and gather them. Lasli will inform Link that some nearby traveling merchants sell two of the ingredients. They can be found just outside the village, but if you do not want to track them down, another easier option is to fast-travel back to Hateno Village in Zelda: TOTK if Link has already been there. Link can purchase Hylian Rice and Fresh Milk from the General Store there. However, if Link is low on Rupees, he can also trade the farmer on the hill three acorns in exchange for Milk and gather Rice nearby in the wild.

Hateno Village is South-East of Kakariko Village at the coordinates 3412, -2127, 0120.

The Sundelions are a little harder to come by as they are found on the Sky Islands. However, they are fairly easy to track down once up there. The simplest way to gather some is to fast-travel back to any Sky Island Link can fast-travel to, including the original Great Sky Island in Zelda: TOTK, and hunt around for these flowers. They can be a little hard to see because they blend in with the grass and other foliage, but Link should be prompted to gather them when close enough. If you are having trouble locating some, try launching Link using a Skyview Tower and landing on smaller Sky Islands to search those.

Once Link has collected all the ingredients, head back to Lasli in Kakariko Village and cook the three ingredients in the pot next to her. This will create a new recipe for Sunny Veggie Porridge. This recipe in Zelda: TOTK restores Heart Containers as well as fixes damage done by Gloom. Interact with Lasli, and she will be eager to test out your dish on her Nanna. Once the Porridge is given to Nanna, she will be much better, and Link will be rewarded with Energizing Veggie Porridge. Additionally, Link can now head back to the Enchanted Armor Shop in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, where prices have now lowered.
